About
Us
OUR HISTORY
We bought the
6 acres of land in September 2001 from Kevin & Ruth Tugwell. The land
had been in the Tugwell family since 1925. Our small dam was one of the
few watering holes in the area for stock from the time of early settlement
in Victor Harbor.
The B & B was purpose
built in August 2004 and designed to maximise the views of Granite island
and the Bay.
We have been growing
Proteas, Banksias and Australian Natives for approximately 23 years. We
saw the opportunity to combine our passion for growing flowers with the
challenge of creating an environment where people would want to come and
stay and enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds us.
THE
VISION
"Our Vision is to provide a romantic, clean and pleasant environment for our guests to feel relaxed and at home. To offer opportunities to rejuvenate and enjoy the lovely natural surroundings and experiences that "Close Encounters" and beautiful Victor Harbor have to offer. We aim to give value to our guests and exceed their expectations."
